I have had a very varied and well‐travelled life. Leaving an office job and the UK in 1994 I started a career in the holiday world and looked after thousands of guests during their holidays. I began SCUBA and having progressed to a professional level, left the holiday world for a time to be able to guide fellow divers under the ocean.
After about 7 years in the Canary Islands I hung up my professional fins, returned to the holiday world and explored more countries and cultures. I was lucky enough to spend many months and some years in Greece, the French Alps, Denmark and finally the Maldives.
Meeting people all the time, of all cultures, languages and beliefs, with communication being my passion. Having come back to the UK in my late 30's I took up a degree in medical science and qualified as a registered paramedic, now having 17 years of front‐line emergency work under my belt.
I believe it is all my life experiences, meetings and exposure that make me a great celebrant. Celebrating life, love or loss with an eagerness to understand the details and deliver words with compassion and understanding I believe is key to a successful ceremony. I have a unique skill set that provides me with the tools to deliver precisely that.
Working as a celebrant is both an honour and a privilege. To encapsulate in words the essence of the story to be told and to provide my clients with their own unique ceremony is my primary focus.
If you are interested in what I can offer you, please get in touch for a free no‐obligation chat and you will be able to decide if I am the right celebrant for you.
